MELANOMA and SARCOMA MEDICAL ONCOLOGY, Huntsman Cancer Institute and University of Utah. Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Oncology Division in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah are recruiting faculty candidates in the clinical and tenure tracks with an interest in treatment of Melanoma and Sarcoma; rank depending on qualifications. Candidates must be a MD or MD/PhD, Board certified in Internal Medicine, Board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and preferably having established or showing promise of establishing a clinical and/or translational research career. Recruitment is ongoing until suitable candidates are identified or the search is closed.

MELANOMA: The candidate will join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary Melanoma and Cutaneous Oncology Program (http://healthsciences.utah.edu/huntsman/research/disease-oriented-teams/melanoma-cancer-dot.php) with active research programs in drug development, genomics, genetically engineered and patient-derived murine models of melanoma, prevention and survivorship. The successful candidate will play a key role in the multidisciplinary clinic and in developing the clinical research program in Melanoma within a growing translational research initiative.

SARCOMA: The candidate will join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary Sarcoma Service (http://healthsciences.utah.edu/huntsman/research/disease-oriented-teams/sarcoma-dot.php) with active research programs in genomics, sarcomagenesis, genetically engineered and patient-derived murine models of sarcoma, preclinical and human research imaging, drug development, and survivorship. The successful candidate will play a key role in the multidisciplinary clinic and in developing the clinical and translational research program in Sarcoma.
