Scientist- Biochemical Analysis

Our team is responsible for biochemical characterization of Genmab’s therapeutic antibodies to support the development of novel antibody formats and our preclinical pipeline. For the biochemical analysis we use several biochemical techniques such as Bio-Layer Interferometry, spectroscopy, Light Scattering, Capillary Electrophoresis and Analytical Chromatography. In addition, we use immunochemical techniques to conjugate proteins with (fluorescent) labels for research purposes. Stability studies and pre-formulation studies are performed to guarantee the stability of our materials. We constantly seek to improve existing techniques and to introduce new analytical techniques.

Key Accountabilities

With your knowledge and experience you will work in multidisciplinary international project teams to help develop state-of-the-art antibody therapeutics.

You are one of the expertise specialists regarding the biochemical characterization of both classical antibodies and new antibody formats, such as Genmab’s proprietary DuoBody and HexaBody formats and antibody drug conjugates.

Another task is to perform analytics to support Genmab’s research and to ensure proper Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) of our therapeutic products.

You play an important role in building efficient processes, using both internal and external resources. You translate re-search plans into concrete action.

With your up to date expertise and broad work experience you support antibody and technology innovation projects.

You propose new processes and technologies.

Most of the work is performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and therefore require a high degree of accuracy.
