You are invited to partner with the nation’s best hospital (U.S. News & World Report 2018-2019), ranked #1 in more specialties than any other care provider. Practicing at Mayo Clinic provides a rewarding career that promotes excellence in patient-centered care. You can thrive in an environment that supports innovation and has a wealth of resources available to you – including an integrated EMR and collaboration with top specialists – to give your patients the quality of care you want to achieve.

The Mayo Clinic is an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, and the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic Florida includes over twenty-four board-certified hematologists and medical oncologists, offering highly skilled, state-of-the art care. The medical oncology team in Florida is known for its extensive involvement in the preclinical and clinical development of new breast cancer therapies as well as the identification and translation of cancer biomarkers. They are active participants in the NCI Specialized Program in Research Excellence (SPORE) grant, the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, and the NCI Experimental Therapeutics-Clinical Trials Network (ET-CTN). The division also supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and the Mayo Medical School in Florida. We are seeking a physician with strong academic clinical research interests.

Previous practice experience or advanced fellowship training is desired, and applicants should have an interest in joining an active clinical practice. The division is seeking an individual with a strong interest in clinical and translational research in breast cancer with opportunities to facilitate clinical trials research in the disease. A track record of publication and clinical trials experience is needed. Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology
