Faculty, Department of Thoracic Oncology
Moffitt Cancer Center’s Department of Thoracic Oncology invites applications for a medical oncology faculty position at the Assistant / Associate level. The department supports an integrated, multidisciplinary team consisting of medical oncologists, thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, advance practice professionals, nutritionists, and experienced nurses who care for a variety of thoracic cancer patients. Successful candidates will serve as an active and contributing member of the departments robust clinical research. This position provides medical treatment to patients with metastatic thoracic cancers and involves teaching of fellows, residents, and students. A major emphasis is on the design and execution of clinical trials, supported by an outstanding clinical trials infrastructure and deep laboratory research in basic and population sciences.
Qualified applicants will possess an M.D. degree, a Florida medical license or eligibility, board eligibility/certification in Medical Oncology, and fellowship trained in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
