The Northwell Health System seeks a board certified System Chief, Gynecologic Oncology to join our growing multidisciplinary program. This position will have the unique opportunity to identify and build a disease-centric programmatic team that spans all levels and functions.

As a visionary leader, the ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Cancer Institute and OBGYN Service Line to implement the vision for gynecologic oncology services at the Northwell Health. The System Chief, Gynecologic Oncology will play a key role in physician recruitment efforts and business planning for growth and expansion. The position will work closely with service line leadership, including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and the full complement of medical and surgical specialties who are involved in the care of cancer patients. As a research leader, the ideal candidate will serve a critical role in directing the expansion of clinical trials across Northwell Health. Northwell Health treats more than 16,000 patients with cancer annually, and offers patients access to the services of more than 200 Cancer Institute physicians in more than 25 sub-specialties throughout the greater New York metropolitan region. The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is home to Northwell Health’s research and is an epicenter for scientific discovery and innovation, including basic science and clinical research.  Northwell Health and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory have created a strategic partnership to accelerate translational cancer research, diagnosis and treatment. This collaboration also enhances the potential to bring early phase clinical trials to our patients, in addition to existing offerings of cancer clinical trials to patients throughout the region.

Northwell Health includes 23 award-winning hospitals and more than 650 community based practice locations throughout Long Island, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Westchester. All candidates will receive competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and eligibility for tuition reimbursement.
