The University of Arizona Cancer Center at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking candidates for medical & surgical oncologist and hematology positions.  We offer unique ground-floor opportunities to build best-in-class patient care programs by combining the academic strengths of the NCI-designated University of Arizona Comprehensive Cancer Center (UACC) with the outstanding care provided by St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Dignity Health, the 5^th largest health system in the US.  We have seven active multidisciplinary disease teams, each including medical, surgical, radiation, radiology, pathology, genetics and supportive care experts and are in the process of building a Cellular Therapy Program.   Building a robust clinical practice, providing direct patient care, and participating in the translational research programs of the UACC are key responsibilities of these positions.  The multidisciplinary teams work closely with the leadership of both Dignity Health and UACC to ensure the growth of the comprehensive patient care programs as well as the implementation and growth of the translational and clinical trials programs.
