Mission Hope Cancer Center is the first comprehensive facility for cancer care in the Central Coast region of California. 44,000sq ft under one roof, centered around patient comfort,home for: medical and radiation oncology , multiple surgeons, a pain management center, UCLA clinical research network where patients will have access to a multitude of clinical trials through the UCLA Network, without the need for travel, cancer support services including nurse navigators, dietitian, social worker, cancer registry, genetic counseling, resource library, appearance center, a breast center with digital mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and MRI breast imaging capability, a dedicated CT/PET scanner, a state-of-the-art CT scanner dedicated for patients undergoing treatment planning for radiation therapy, radiation therapy will be delivered by means of a Varian Rapid Arc Linear Accelerator which employs the most advanced technology (currently there are only approximately 40 some of these accelerators installed around the country)
