New Mexico Cancer Center provides care to one in three New Mexicans who have cancer. We are a leader in providing cutting-edge treatment for adult cancers and blood-related disorders using a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach. We have nine medical oncologists, three radiation oncologists, one radiologist, thee internists, and more than 150 support personnel on staff at four locations in Albuquerque, Gallup, Ruidoso and Silver City. We will be opening a fifth location in Las Cruces this year. New Mexico Cancer Center is operated by New Mexico Oncology Hematology Consultants, Ltd. (NMOHC), an independent physician-owned practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Medical oncologists Clark Haskins, MD, and Barbara McAneny, MD, founded the Cancer Center in 1987 because they wanted to create an independent practice that focused first on patients and their needs.
