UT Health Northeast has approximately 75 clinical faculty in more than 25 medical specialties, as well as 32 research faculty.  It's core medical areas are pulmonology, cardiology, oncology, primary care, occupational medicine, and surgery.  Graduate Medical Education is an integral component of UT Health Northeast and includes accredited residency programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and Rural Track Family Medicine, with a Psychiatry residency planned to open in 2017.  We have also recently partnered with MD Anderson to create the UT Health Northeast MD Anderson Cancer Center, which will open later this year.  Visit our website at uthealth.org.

Tyler is considered the advanced manufacturing, health care, educational and retail center of East Texas. Located about an hour and a half from Dallas and Shreveport, Tyler's charming brick streets lead visitors to an array of family attractions, historic districts, quaint antique shops and unique specialty stores. Tyler has an impressive youth recreation program, including active baseball and soccer leagues. Its cultural offerings include ballet, symphony, and art museums. Special events include the Texas Rose Festival and the Azalea & Spring Flower Trail.
