Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is recognized as one of the largest and most successful comprehensive cancer centers in the country, based on the availability of outstanding care-givers, “state of the art” facilities for cancer care, a commitment to excellence in training of professionals for oncology, and cutting-edge cancer research. MSKCC consists of three closely inter-related organizations. Memorial Hospital is a 470-bed cancer center with advanced imaging capabilities; Sloan-Kettering Institute of Cancer Research (SKI) is a biomedical research institution; and MSKCC is the umbrella organization that provides administrative oversight for the clinical and basic research programs in oncology.
