The University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) is a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research and education.  Our cancer center serves as the research backbone for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Our therapeutic clinical trials as well as many of our correlative studies are supported by the UACC Clinical Trials unit. UACC shared services support other basic and translational research activities.

This is a unique opportunity for a junior faculty member in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, given the expertise of the faculty. The High-Risk program is an opportunity for a faculty member who is interested in genetics, risk evaluation and research. There is also an opportunity to significantly contribute to our making clinical trials effort successful. Minimally invasive surgery and vaginal surgery are areas of expertise here and the individual can grow his/her surgical skills under the tutelage of a master senior gynecologic oncologist.
