MEDICAL ONCOLOGIST

Pacific Northwest opportunity to join our collegial, patient-centered, multi-disciplinary team in a new 35,000 square foot cancer center in Bellingham, Washington. Cancer Center team consists of 4 Medical Oncologists, 3 Radiation Oncologists, 2 Physician Assistants, Oncology Nurses, Clinical Trials Staff, Cancer Registrars and numerous professionals who provide support services. Together with medical and surgical specialists in our community, we participate in a general tumor board and site-specific tumor boards for breast and thoracic oncology to provide evidence-based medicine. We see patients with a variety of hematologic and cancer diagnoses as well as benign hematologic conditions. Pediatric oncology and transplant patients are referred to Seattle, Washington. We provide acute care to oncology patients undergoing treatment during regular office Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Call is shared with 4 medical oncologists. No urgent care expectations. Our oncology providers also cover satellite clinics on San Juan Island and in Ketchikan, Alaska. We also partner with PeaceHealth United General Hospital in Sedro Woolley, WA to share cancer services.
