The Section of Gastrointestinal Cancers and Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time medical oncologist at the Associate or full Professor level to lead our Medical Oncology GI Section.  The GI Program is a vibrant multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and basic scientists dedicated to understanding and treating GI malignancies. Responsibilities include leadership of the GI Medical Oncology Section, outpatient clinics, inpatient lymphoma service, clinical and translational research, participation and leadership in clinical trials, as well as teaching and supervision of fellows.  Applicants are required to be BC/BE in oncology and be eligible for a NY State Medical License.  The Program Chief will report directly to the Chair Department of Medicine. The search committee will consider clinical and translational research interests, publication record, and commitment to clinical care and teaching.  Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications and years of experience. Faculty will also have a joint appointment at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. RPCI offers a generous fringe benefits package.

Roswell Park initiated one of the nation's first centers dedicated to Early Phase Clinical Trials and drives innovative cancer research in genetics, cell stress and immunotherapy, leading to new personalized treatments.
