Thoracic Medical Oncologist - Buffalo, New York
The Section of Thoracic Oncology in the Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time medical oncologist at the Assistant/Associate or full Professor level to join a vibrant multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists dedicated to understanding and treating thoracic cancers. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, inpatient consultation service, clinical and translational research, participation and leadership in clinical trials, as well as teaching and supervision of fellows. Applicants are required to be BC/BE in oncology and be eligible for a NY State Medical License. The search committee will consider clinical and translational research interests, publication record, and commitment to clinical care and teaching. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications and years of experience. Faculty will also have a joint appointment at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. Roswell Park initiated one of the nation's first centers dedicated to Early Phase Clinical Trials and drives innovative cancer research in genetics, cell stress and immunotherapy, leading to new personalized treatments.
