Position Summary: The division of hematology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a mid-career, strong investigator, and key opinion leader in Leukemia/Myelodysplastic Syndrome to lead our Acute and Chronic Leukemia Program.

Responsibilities: The Acute and Chronic Leukemia Program (ACLP) in Arizona includes seven hematologists focused specifically on leukemia/MDS/MPN and BMT and 2 nurse practitioners. We are seeking a NON TRANSPLANT focused physician addition to this team to lead our program. The ACLP actively is involved with research and works closely with the other Mayo sites through a 3 site working group/collaboration. There are over 20 hematologists at the other Mayo Clinic sites in Minnesota and Florida that we work with closely. The ACLP is thriving and we seek an individual to help us grow and expand the program. They will work closely with the clinical director of the ACLP. A track record of leadership and publication in heme malignancy is required.

The Mayo Clinic Cancer Center (MCCC) is an integrated NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and includes Mayo Clinic Campuses in Arizona, Florida and Minnesota and ranks first in each state by US News and World Report. The Mayo Clinic in Arizona is amongst the very top centers in Cancer by US News and World Report and has over 250 dedicated faculty members in Cancer. The successful applicant for this position would be integrally involved with the Hematologic Malignancy Program of the MCCC and the Mayo Clinic Acute Leukemia and Myeloid Neoplasm Disease Group. The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona includes over forty board-certified hematologists and medical oncologists, offering highly skilled, state-of-the art care including the largest Stem Cell Transplant program in the state of Arizona. 

The division also supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
