Clinical Faculty Position in Hematology/Oncology:
GastroIntestinal Cancer

The Massachusetts General Cancer Center currently seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible oncologists for a faculty position emphasizing clinical and translational research in the area of GastroIntestinal Cancers, including phase I clinical research.  This position is at the level of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. The incumbent will join a multi-disciplinary team in the disease area, participating in a curriculum agenda of patient care, teaching and research.

Interested candidates should have a record of success in oncology research and in the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients. Candidates should be motivated to pursue clinical and translational research, with a focus on phase I clinical trials.  Confidence working in a community environment, and dedication and willingness to participate in a multidisciplinary care setting are essential. Candidates should be caring, compassionate, willing to involve patients and families, in the decision making process and able to coordinate care with colleagues in various departments.
