Exceptional opportunity for a board eligible/board certified hematologist/oncologist with expertise in benign and malignant hematology to join a busy seven person QOPI-certified hematology/oncology private practice.  Anticipated responsibilities 70% hematology/30% oncology.  The practice is located in in Fairfield County, Connecticut in a single site cancer center physically located within a new, state-of-the-art community teaching hospital associated with an Ivy league medical school.  Collaborative member of an NCI-designated cancer hospital network.  Robust clinical research program.  Faculty appointment with a major medical school available.  Teaching responsibilities at both the resident and medical student levels. Excellent compensation and benefits package including health and liability insurance, vacation, and pension plan.  Four day work week, every eighth weekend on-call schedule. Excellent support staff with nurse practitioners, RNs, nurse navigators, research nurses, data managers, genetics counselor, and pharmacists.
