Salish Cancer Center, located in Fife, WA, approximately 30 miles south of Seattle, is actively searching for a Medical Director to join their team of oncology specialists. Salish Cancer Center is a state of the art facility, owned and operated by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, that practices evidence-based medical oncology including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy, and is open to integrative approaches to cancer treatment such as naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, traditional Native American healing practices, nutrition, and other integrative therapies. The approach at Salish is to offer the most highly respected, evidence based conventional treatment in an atmosphere that also supports a patient’s choice on integrative medicine. The Medical Director position is responsible for the leadership and direction of providers and services working in close collaboration with the Practice Administrator. This position requires both administrative and clinical duties. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the growth and development of a growing practice. The candidate will be board certified in Oncology and/or Hematology, have previous administrative experience such as a medical director with direct supervision responsibilities and have at least three (3) years clinical experience (post fellowship). Must be licensed or able to obtain a license in Washington State. Experience with QOPI certification or CoC accreditation is highly desirable.
