Division of Hematology/Oncology

The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine and the Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is recruiting for a new position, the Deputy Chief of Clinical Affairs. The Deputy Chief will report to and work with the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology to expand and strengthen the program to meet the increasing needs of cancer care in South Carolina.   The Deputy Chief will be responsible the program’s clinical coordination and care delivery and will lead the quality program across the continuum.

The successful applicant should be a dynamic leader with board certification in medical oncology and have demonstrable administrative/leadership experience as well as a track record of participation in clinical trials. This individual must be able to build relationships and have a passion for quality.  

The Medical University of South Carolina's Division of Hematology/Oncology has delivered outstanding cancer care to South Carolinians for more than 30 years. The Division is devoted to the delivery of high quality cancer care at MUSC's Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) located at the Main Campus in downtown Charleston and at the affiliated Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. HCC is designated by the National Cancer Institute and the University is supported by an NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Award.
