New Fellowship in Cancer Immunotherapy
(July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019)


The Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is offering a new comprehensive one-year fellowship designed to prepare physicians who have completed training in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology for academic careers in Cancer Immunotherapy. This fellowship is offered jointly by the MSK Adult Bone Marrow Transplantation Service, Cellular Therapeutics Center (CTC) and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI) at MSK, and is supported by the PICI at MSK. The fellowship includes clinical service time on the inpatient BMT Service and the outpatient clinics of the BMT, CTC and Immunotherapy services. Time will also be allocated for research. Candidates should be BC/BE in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, and meet the requirements to obtain a medical license in New York State (US training or ECFMG). MSK has been at the forefront of the developments of novel approaches to stem cell transplantation and cell therapy, including CAR T cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes, NK cells, as well as a pioneer in the field of immunotherapy with cancer vaccines, checkpoint inhibitors, and additional immunotherapies.
