Clinical Faculty Position in Hematology/Oncology:
Thoracic Malignancy

The Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center currently seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible oncologists for a faculty position emphasizing clinical care and translational research in the area of Thoracic Malignancies.  This position is at the level of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. The incumbent will join a multi-disciplinary team in the disease area, participating in patient care, teaching and clinical research.  The practice will be located at the MGH Cancer Center in Danvers, which serves the North Shore of Massachusetts and is closely integrated with the MGH Cancer Center in Boston.

Interested candidates should have a record of success in in the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients and in clinical research. Confidence working in a community environment, and dedication and willingness to participate in a multidisciplinary care setting are essential. Candidates should be caring, compassionate, willing to involve patients and families in the decision-making process and able to coordinate care with colleagues in various departments.
