Seeking GU Medical Oncologist for Unique Opportunity

One of the premier private clinics in the U.S. that specializes in Urological Cancers has a rare practice opening for a medical oncologist. The Urology Cancer Center and GU Research Network in Omaha, NE is one of only a few community-based clinics in the country that exclusively treats urological cancers. We have a large, established prostate cancer population and a significant focus on clinical research with more than 60 active clinical trials (phase 1-3 and opportunity for investigator initiated trials). We have developed a strong national and international reputation with patients coming from more than 40 different states and foreign countries. UCC has been the world leader in the past with Provenge® and Xofigo® treatments and was trusted to administer several first-in-human clinical trials. There are significant opportunities for meeting presentations and original work without the bureaucracy of large centers. Through our focus and efficiencies we are able to open most clinical trials in a matter of weeks and receive tremendous support from virtually every major pharmaceutical company/CRO.

The practice is completely focused on quality clinical care, service, results and patient satisfaction. UCC was one of the first practices in the Midwest to be QOPI certified, and was the first practice in the U.S. to be recognized by the NCQA as an Oncology Medical Home. We have almost five hundred 5-star ratings on We employ more than 40 staff and all of them are hand-picked and rewarded well for their skills, customer service and ability to embrace and fulfill the UCC mission. That mission is part of everyone’s annual performance evaluations and we are very serious about the culture of excellence we have built.

This is a one-time chance to become part of an amazing organization and experience professional growth at a rapid pace.  UCC offers a unique combination of private practice and academic research that is almost impossible to find in health care today. It is an exciting place to work and our growth over the past eight years is visible proof of our success.

If you have an interest in a medical oncology career that specializes in Urological Cancer and being a part of a nationally recognized program, you need to contact us. There’s only one position available and it will go to the most qualified and motivated individual that can meet our standards and expectations. You will be well-rewarded for your efforts, both financially and professionally.
