Faculty Positions — Hematology & Oncology (GI Malignancies)

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking full-time Hematologists/Oncologists with expertise in GI Malignancies. The Division of Hematology/Oncology of the Department of Medicine provides opportunities to collaborate with colleagues of the George Washington Cancer Center that brings together the resources of the University, the GW Medical Faculty Associates, and the GW University Hospital to expand current research efforts in the fight against cancer and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area.

Responsibilities include providing excellent patient care; teaching Residents, Fellows and medical students; and developing an active research program.  Appointment to these full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions will be made at a rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine, be board certified/eligible in Hematology or Medical Oncology, and be licensed in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. Clinical expertise in GI malignancies and expertise conducting clinical trials are required and must be demonstrated by previous training, research, or employment.
