MEMORIAL SLOAN KETTERING CANCER CENTER
RALPH LAUREN CENTER FOR CANCER CARE
DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is one of the world’s premier cancer centers, committed to exceptional patient care, leading-edge research and superb educational programs. The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians and other health care workers.
The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care (RLCC) at MSK was established in 2003 with the goal of reducing cancer disparities in Harlem and surrounding neighborhoods in New York City. Our facility in Harlem provides cancer screening and prevention services as well as treatment for solid tumors, benign hematologic conditions and most hematologic malignancies.
We currently have a position available for a medical oncologist/hematologist at the RLCC in the Department of Medicine at MSK. We are seeking a clinically oriented fulltime faculty member with a strong commitment to reducing disparities in cancer incidence and outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a generalist but subspecialty expertise or competency in benign hematology would be a plus. The ability to communicate in Spanish would also be desirable.
This position will primarily involve clinical care of patients at the RLCC. As a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at MSK, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including subspecialty clinics at the MSK main campus, conferences and clinical trials. Research, particularly on cancer care disparities, is strongly encouraged.
Interested and qualified candidates may forward their CV, bibliography, brief statement of interests and names of 3 references to Lewis J. Kampel, MD email@example.com, Medical Director MSK at the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care
