Chief of Medical Oncology – Mount Sinai Nassau County!
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is an integrated system encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine, eight hospital campuses, and a large ambulatory footprint in the New York metropolitan. MSHS is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in research, patient care, and education. The Tisch Cancer Institute (TCI), a National Cancer Institute-designated center, has recruited a large number of prominent researchers and clinicians. South Nassau Communities Hospital (SNCH) located in Oceanside, Long Island is one of the eight hospitals part of MSHS.
MSHS and SNCH are searching for a senior career level Oncology specialist to join the TCI as a Chief of Medical Oncology for Nassau County. Candidates must have a record of accomplishment as a medical leader and clinical hematologist-oncologist, excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to successfully collaborate across disciplines, and work effectively within a large integrated system. The candidate will provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction to achieve clinical, operational, financial, high standards for patient care and patient satisfaction, research and scholarly missions. The candidate will recruit and mentor junior faculty, facilitate and integrate research and teaching activities along with developing new programs. Recruitment and relocation bonus offered. A faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine and TCI membership will be extended commensurate with experience.
