Geisinger has membership affiliations with Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, Children’s Oncology Group, EGOG-ACRIN, NRG Oncology, University of Rochester Cancer Center and Wake Forest. Palliative medicine services are also offered at each campus. Working with Geisinger’s Department of Oncology Innovation and Analytics, physicians have the opportunity to participate in the development of unique models of care, clinical tools and other research projects. The practice focus is oncology and hematology, including both benign and malignant diseases. The position also involves both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities as well as opportunities for population health, tumor genomics, quality cancer care delivery research, clinical trial participation and internal medicine house-staff and physician-extender (Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners) education.

The position involves inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities. This team is looking for a physician with interest in a hematology focus. The team is supported by advanced practitioners, specialty nurses, social workers, and an infusion room staffed by oncology-certified nurses.
