Novant Health Cancer Program is seeking an experienced, BE/BC full-time hematologist/oncologist in a community-based practice in beautiful Thomasville, NC. Novant Health Oncology Specialists is fully supported by chemotherapy infusion services, nurses, CMA’s, pharmacy, an advanced care practitioner and lab. This clinic is supported by a community of surgeons and other specialties at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center and is also supported by the Derrick L. Davis Cancer Center at nearby Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, a tertiary care hospital.
We are accredited with the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (COC) and ASCO’s Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI). The qualified oncologist will be joining an already busy, growing practice with a network of 14 medical oncologists, four gynecologic oncologists, and five radiation oncologists. Community-based oncologists support the larger group of medical oncologists with minimal call and rounding responsibilities.
