The Massachusetts General Hospital, located in Boston, is seeking an academic and clinical leader to fill the position of Executive Director, Pappas Center for Neuro-oncology and hold an academic appointment as Associate Professor or Professor at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Neurology.
We are seeking an accomplished physician-scientist who is a national leader in Neuro-oncology. It is imperative that the candidate be a proven leader capable of effectively guiding a complex clinical, research and academic program. The candidate should have a clear vision for fostering excellence in patient care, research and teaching, and will have had a record of success with independent NIH or similar funding. The candidate chosen will teach medical students, residents and fellows.
Suitable candidates will have an MD or MD/PhD degree and be certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, or American Board of Medical Oncology. The candidate should be qualified to be appointed at the Associate Professorial or Professorial level at Harvard Medical School.
