The Early Drug Development Center at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) is seeking a full-time medical oncologist (MD or MD/PhD) for an academic clinical investigator position in our program focused on clinical and translational research. The position involves the design, leadership and execution of proof-of-principle molecularly targeted basket studies within the Department of Medical Oncology. Extensive resources are available for genomic analyses, target validation and biomarker development through the Center for Advanced Molecular Diagnostics, housed at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), the Center for Cancer Precision Medicine, a collaboration between DFCI, BWH and the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, the DFCI Belfer Center, as well as Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Core Support Systems. Multiple opportunities exist for collaboration with basic and translational researchers in our team science-oriented program. The position is based in the Department of Medical Oncology at DFCI and the Department of Medicine at the BWH. The chosen candidate will be teaching fellows and students in the clinic. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in medical oncology. Academic rank as Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements.
