Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey in partnership with the Robert Wood  Johnson University Hospital Barnabas Health System offer exciting opportunities for academically oriented medical oncologists that could complement and expand growing programs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Enthusiastic physicians with the skills and energy to play an  important role within our NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and who have interest in very active clinical and translational research programs and/ or a busy clinical practice are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from physicians across all specializations, including but not limited to neurological oncology and gastrointestinal, genitourinary, thoracic, and cutaneous malignancies. Exciting leadership opportunities exist for qualified candidates.

With the partnership of the Health System and academic appointment at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, unique opportunities exist for collaborations between clinical and research programs, including clinical trials research, cancer chemoprevention, clinical and basic pharmacology, Phase 1 clinical trials. Candidates should be able to establish an active clinical practice in addition to contributing to ongoing clinical and translational research and clinical trial accrual. They will also   have an opportunity to potentially develop independent research initiatives and participate in a broad range of teaching initiatives with medical students, housestaff, and fellows. Fellowship training and MD (or equivalent) required. Rank and leadership opportunities will be commensurate with experience and level of training.
