Englewood Health is one of New Jersey’s leading hospitals and healthcare networks. Composed of Englewood Hospital, the Englewood Health Physician Network, and the Englewood Health Foundation, our health system delivers nationally recognized care in a community setting to residents of northern New Jersey and beyond. We are currently seeking two Medical Oncologists with a focus and specialization in either Genitourinary Oncology or Thoracic Oncology to join our Group at the Lefcourt Family Cancer Center. Our practice currently consists of 7 physicians and 5 NP/PAs.

This position will help lead patient care and clinical research activity in their specialty. Responsibilities will include directing multidisciplinary tumor site specific cancer conferences and partnering in Disease Management Teams (DMT) to standardize protocols of patient care, improve quality metrics and review potential clinical trials. A demonstrated record of prior clinical and/or research experience in genitourinary or thoracic oncology is preferred.

Our Cancer Center has 8 established DMTs each coordinated by recognized subspecialty Surgical and Medical Oncologists. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to build and grow his or her career, and have a direct influence on the direction and shape of oncologic care at our practice and medical center for years to come!  Working in close collaboration with subspecialists of multiple disciplines, the medical oncology practice has a long-standing tradition and reputation for providing care that is patient-centered, compassionate, and second-to-none.  We actively participate in clinical trials and educate medical students and house staff. Based in a brand new, state-of-the art facility, The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center includes a 36-bay infusion center, a cutting-edge Radiation Oncology suite with two new Varian True Beams, and the full range of medical, surgical, genetic counseling, and Palliative Care services.  The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center is COC and NAPBC accredited and features oncology certified nurse practitioners, an oncology certified pharmacist, research coordinators, nurse navigators, nutritionists, chaplains, and integrative medicine providers.

The candidate will be considered for an Academic Appointment as part of the Seton Hall University Medical School.
