The Division of Hematology/Oncology and Penn State Cancer Institute, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is actively recruiting for a Faculty Medical Oncologist with an established track record of research in Sarcoma to join our team in Hershey, PA.  The successful candidate will join a vibrant and productive division of nearly 30 faculty focused on Benign Hematology, Hematologic Malignancies, Solid Oncology, Genetic Counseling, Personalized Medicine, and Basic/Translational Research.

The candidate is expected to develop and lead a multi-disciplinary research program in the area of Sarcoma.  Candidates should also have experience with investigator initiated clinical trials specific to Sarcoma.  There are multiple opportunities for collaboration within the Penn State College of Medicine, and other colleges at University Park.

Primary responsibilities include patient care, clinical research, and medical student and house staff education.  Qualified candidates will have protected time for clinical and/or basic research.  The development of programs in clinical care and basic/translational research is a priority for the Penn State Cancer Institute.

Appropriate candidates must possess a MD, DO, or foreign equivalent and be board certified/eligible in Hematology/Oncology and have completed Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology from an accredited institution.

Candidates must have or be able to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience may be considered for tenure track.  Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
