Chief, Division of Oncology/Hematology

Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking a senior Hematologist/Oncologist to serve as Chief of the Division of Oncology/Hematology.  The ideal candidate for the next Chief of the Division is an accomplished clinician and organizational leader, who is respected for his/her clinical and teaching skills.

Expertise in GI or thoracic malignancies a plus. The selected candidate must be eligible for a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level.

The Oncology Division's clinical services include a busy outpatient practice, inpatient consulting service and a comprehensive chemotherapy/infusion  space.  The Oncology Division is also responsible for medical student and resident teaching programs. The division consists of 5 medical oncologists and 3 oncology Nurse practitioners, along with a full complement of oncology nurses both in the office and in the infusion clinic. Mount Auburn Hospital has a full range of ancillary services, including a state of the art Radiation Therapy department, Interventional Radiology, Oncologic Surgery, Hoffman Breast Center for Breast Cancer Care, Wellness Programming, and a multidisciplinary Palliative Care program. As part of Beth Israel Lahey Health we participate in a comprehensive research program and have access to advanced oncologic services such as BMT and CAR-T.
