Applications are invited for an Assistant/Associate Professor physician-scientist position within the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Knight Cancer Institute of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Portland OR, in the area of sarcoma.  The successful candidate will have a laboratory-based research focus, experience in translational research, a strong funding and publication record, commensurate with experience, and the ability to work in a vibrant cohesive multidisciplinary team.  The candidate will be encouraged to participate in the clinical sarcoma program, although the emphasis of this position is basic and translational research. Non-physicians with successful translational programs may be considered if a persuasive strategy for integration with the clinical research program is included with the application.
