Genitourinary Medical Oncologist – Rochester

The Division of Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Academic Medical Oncologist with expertise in Genitourinary (GU) malignancies, with a specific focus in prostate cancer, to join our practice. The preferred candidate will have a national/international reputation as a prostate oncologist.This position offers strong opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration as well as personal career development and advancement. The ideal candidate is a scholarly clinician with an academic track record in clinical research, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to multidisciplinary patient care and clinical research. In addition, candidates should be interested in developing and implementing clinical trials for patients with GU malignancies and working across disciplines to advance the field of GU oncology.

The Mayo Clinic Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, therefore providing patients with access to a wide variety of diagnostics and clinical trials through our early therapeutics program, the NCI-sponsored phase II consortium, and national clinical trials network studies, as well as other clinical trials opportunities. In addition, robust bench and translational research serves as an integral component of GU malignancies research at Mayo Clinic. The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, rank commensurate with experience.

Board eligibility or board certification in Medical Oncology is required. Three years of post-fellowship experience with a focus in prostate cancers is strongly preferred.
