The Division of Hematology/Oncology & Palliative Care, Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin is seeking applicants for full-time Medical Oncologists with primary clinical and research interests in gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies to join our faculty.

This position would be active in multi-disciplinary GI oncology programs including pancreas, liver, colorectal, esophagus, and precision medicine, with a focus in a designated disease/organ of interest.  The successful candidate will join a world-class institution that encourages, values and supports interdisciplinary basic, clinic and population health research, and attracts scholars and students from around the world. We strongly encourage applications from candidates who foster and promote the values of diversity and inclusion and who will proactively support efforts to improve diversity in clinical trial participants. The candidate will provide direct patient care, academic teaching and contribute to disease-specific research conducted in the UW Carbone Cancer Center. 

Candidates should have an M.D. or equivalent degree, and be board eligible/certified in Medical Oncology, all ranks and tracks will be considered. The Division of Hematology/Oncology & Palliative Care is part of the Department of Medicine and the NCI-designated UW Carbone Cancer Center. The Division is active in all phases of cancer therapy development and evaluation.
