The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) is recruiting an outstanding medical oncologist to join our rapidly growing multidisciplinary program. Academic rank as Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements. 

The Gastrointestinal Cancer Center is a thriving clinical and translational research unit dedicated to the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. There is a strong academic orientation to our program with extensive translational research to identify new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. The focus of this position is on expert clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies and clinical investigation of novel therapies. The successful candidate is expected to become an expert in gastrointestinal oncology; develop, participate and lead clinical and translational research projects; and take an active role in the Center’s clinical activities. The successful candidate will also engage in teaching students, house staff, and fellows in the lab, clinic and inpatient settings.

The position will be based in both the Department of Medical Oncology at DFCI and the Department of Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and includes collaboration with other institutions affiliated with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Care Center and the Harvard Medical School. Candidates must be board-eligible or certified in medical oncology.
