Blue Ridge Cancer Care (BRCC) is looking to hire a BC/BE Hematologist Oncologist to serve their Lewisburg, WV and Low Moor, VA offices. BRCC is a network of cancer care providers consist ing of 10 cancer centers strategically located throughout Southwestern Virginia. In conjunction with the leaders hip of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center of Lewisburg, BRCC recognized the need to bring world class cancer care services to th is area . Ideal for a mid-career professional, we are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist who wants to spearhead our efforts to build a strong oncology program for the community's many retirees and residents that are fortunate to call this quaint resort community their home. This physician can choose to reside in either Virginia or West Virginia as they will also spend two days a week working at BRCC's Low Moor, Virginia office.

Voted "Coolest Town in America" for 2011 by Budget Travel Magazine, Lewisburg is in Southeastern West Virginia's Greenbrier Valley and is close to many local attractions. Lewisburg itself lays claim to one of only four Carnegie Halls worldwide and its quaint downtown area boasts many unique shops and restaurants. Nearby attractions include historic Greenbrier Resort that dates to 1910 but has roots that trace to the 1700's and is known for its therapeutic hot springs. Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains, The Greenbrier is also home to the Greenbrier Classic Golf Tournament, The Houston Texans Football Training Camp and contains the largest Cold War era bunker meant for US and International diplomats. The Greenbrier River Valley is also home to the Lost World Caverns, State Fair of West Virginia and many outdoor activities including white water rafting.

BRCC is home to 1 5 Hematologists/Oncologists, 6 Radiation Oncologists and 1 2 Advanced Practice Providers.
