Description

 

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA currently seeks applicants at the Associate or Full Professor rank for an academic physician. The individual should have a distinguished record of leadership, clinical excellence, expertise in mentoring junior faculty, and demonstrated commitment to clinical research. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of research clinical productivity, scholarly activity and clinician initiated trials experience. An interest in thoracic diseases, MRI-Guided Radiation Therapy, and leadership opportunities are preferred, but not required.

Our unique clinical department is recognized nationally for cutting-edge research and technology in the treatment of all types of malignancies. Our innovative approach in the treatment of various malignancies is a complement to our medical physics and radiation biology divisions.

 

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader interested in promoting a culture of collaboration and clinical inquiry across disciplines within both the department as well as inter‐departmentally. This position is open in the Health Sciences, Clinical X, or In-Residence series commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an MD, be eligible for California medical licensure, and be board certified in radiation oncology.
