Sarcoma / Melanoma Medical Oncologist

We have an outstanding academic faculty opportunity within the Sarcoma/Melanoma Medical Oncology Program.  Fox Chase Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliated with Temple University Health System, features a unique collegial, interactive scientific environment that fosters collaboration between clinicians and scientists.  Our multi-faceted research programs are closely linked to our multi-disciplinary clinical practice and our career opportunities are second to none.

Due to continued clinical growth, the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking applicants for a full time Academic Sarcoma /Melanoma Medical Oncologist.  The successful applicant will have fellowship training and strong clinical skills in the care of melanoma/sarcoma and strong interest in the development of clinical trials and novel targeted therapies. Emphasis is placed on the ability to foster interaction between laboratory and clinical investigators, participate in multidisciplinary clinical trial teams, and participate in the teaching mission of the Division, Center, and institution. Our goal is to identify a skilled clinician at the Assistant/Associate Professor level who has demonstrated commitment to clinical care in the in-patient and out-patient settings as part of the multi-disciplinary Sarcoma /Melanoma program.  The successful candidate will also engage in clinical trials, teaching fellows and other learners as well as mentoring junior faculty. Faculty appointment at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor is available depending on qualifications.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology or Oncology, and have an MD or equivalent degree.
