Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Service

The Department of Medicine and Division of Hematology/Oncology at Columbia University Medical center (CUMC), are inviting applications from highly qualified junior and/or midcareer physician scientist at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level for the expanding Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Service. The Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Service at CUMC under the leadership of Dr. Suzanne Lentzsch is undergoing an expansion, with the focus on establishing an active clinical trials program. The candidate should have a strong interest in clinical trials and translational research and will play a critical role in building and enhancing clinical research focused on Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis with the goal of growing the program over the next five years.  The position is an ideal opportunity for an established or developing researcher to access the medical centers large population of patients with plasma cell dyscrasias. The successful candidates will be expected to participate in clinical care of patients and to contribute to the academic mission of the program in terms of clinical, translational and/or basic research as well as to participate in teaching and administrative responsibilities specific to Malignant Hematology.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree and be board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.
