Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor (Health Science Clinical series) - Solid Tumor Oncology

 

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology are recruiting for a new faculty member at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level in the Solid Tumor Oncology Program.

 

Candidates will have the responsibility for patient care within one of the disease- or site-specific Solid Tumor Oncology programs at UCSF, while participating in and helping build a robust clinical research program in the context of an established multidisciplinary team. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to become a member of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center with access to all core resources and abundant opportunities for collaboration. The appointment will be made in the Health Sciences Clinical series at a rank compatible with the candidate's qualifications.

 

The appointment will be made at the level of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate HS Clinical Professor.

 

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree and be ABIM eligible or certified in Medical Oncology. Candidates should have also completed appropriate clinical research training and demonstrated an interest and track record in clinical and/or translational research, including but not limited to clinical trials, biomarkers, health care outcomes, global health, and quality of life.
