Medical Director - Real-World Evidence Oncology Research

We are seeking research-trained medical oncologists to join our rapidly growing Research Oncology team. The team provides clinical and research leadership, ensuring quality and translating real-world data into insights that benefit cancer patients. Our areas of research focus include health outcomes, regulatory science, precision medicine, and clinical trial design.

Flatiron takes a highly collaborative, team-based approach to answering critical research questions. Our research partners include life sciences companies, the National Cancer Institute, the Food & Drug Administration, NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network®. Our extensive network of community-based and academic medical centers includes more than 800 sites of care and 2,500 clinicians across the U.S. Our network of clinical partners care for more than two million cancer patients. In addition to providing software solutions to our partners including quality improvement platforms, Flatiron creates highly-curated de-identified datasets to support research.

We are seeking oncologists with research training and experience in data analytic methods, who thrive in a cutting-edge fast-paced environment that values and supports creativity, flexibility, teamwork and career development. We promote an interactive culture that brings together technical and medical experts, with opportunities for publication authorship, and presentations at national and international meetings. Research oncologists may choose to continue patient care one day per week.
