The Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center currently seeks applications from dual board-certified or board-eligible Hematologists/Oncologists for a faculty position at the Massachusetts General Hospital, based primarily at Mass General Waltham and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
The successful applicant will have experience and interest in treating the breadth of hematologic disorders, benign and malignant, with the expectation that the practice will focus primarily on benign hematology. The Hematologist/Oncologist will also work closely with the Hematology faculty at MGH to develop an area of expertise and also participate in clinical trials.
The Hematologist/Oncologist will join a growing team of physicians and advanced practice providers based at MG Waltham and NWH who bring the highest quality multidisciplinary care to the community, working closely with Boston campus colleagues and on-site MGH Radiation Oncology colleagues.
Interested candidates should have a record of success caring for outpatients with non-malignant and malignant hematology disorders. Candidates should be compassionate, willing to involve patients and families in the decision-making process, and able to collaborate with colleagues in various departments to provide multidisciplinary care. Candidates must also work with clinical leadership at MGH Boston and NWH to ensure the MGH standard of excellence. Candidates will participate in clinical research programs as well as teach residents and medical students. There is opportunity for academic appointment to Harvard Medical School.
