Hematology Oncologist

FULL TIME HEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY OPPORTUNITY IN MADISON, WI

SSM Health Cancer Care based in Madison, WI is adding a full time Hematology Oncology physician to our robust oncology team of 11 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers. This sub-specialty orientated practice will be looking for the new physician to supplement our hematologic malignancies group. In this primarily outpatient focused practice, expect a Monday through Friday clinic schedule. Expect to spend two days a week practicing in Madison delivering subspecialty based care. Two days each week will also be spent treating general oncology in our outreach clinics. Enjoy an administrative day that is built into every physicians schedule. Attractive shared call schedule of 1 in 11 weekdays and approximately 4 weeks a year of inpatient coverage rotations on a specialty oriented consultative basis without any primary admitting responsibilities.  Future planned transition to the new state-of-the-art comprehensive multi-disciplinary cancer center currently in design phase of construction. Clinical research options available and encouraged.

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• WI Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Active DEA
• BE/BC Medical Oncology
• Specialization of hematology oncology malignancies
