GENITOURINARY ONCOLOGIST
The Comprehensive Cancer Center of Rhode Island Hospital is seeking a specialist in urologic oncology. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The position will have clinical, research and educational responsibilities and a commitment to scholarly participation in the research programs of the Warren Alpert Medical School. Approximately 50% of time will be clinical and 50% research. The clinical practice will consist of patients with genitourinary malignancies. We are a center of excellence in GU malignancies with multidisciplinary clinics attended by urologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists. Providers are supported by a interdisciplinary team with mid-level practitioners, nurse navigators, specialized oncology nurses, medical social worker and nutritional counselor. The applicant should be board certified or board eligible in medical oncology. Experience in managing patients with GU malignancies is preferred but not required.
