Hematologist/Oncologist Research

The Hunter Holmes McGuire Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia, and Virginia Commonwealth University are seeking BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologists with a significant research interest to join the McGuire Cancer Center. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to work at the soon-to-be-built state-of-the-art McGuire Cancer Center (VA) and our partner Massey Cancer Center (VCU) (NCI-CC).

We especially invite candidates with a strong laboratory research background to apply on the physician-scientist track. A strong track record of high-impact publications and/or funding is preferred. For a highly qualified candidate, a comprehensive package including space, personnel, and supplies will be offered to establish a research laboratory. We also invite an application from clinicians with a keen interest and background in clinical research to apply on the clinical-investigator track based on prior research experience and training.  Preference will be given to those with interest in Thoracic, Prostate, and/or Liver malignancies.
