Job Details
MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute is seeking applications for an academically focused breast cancer medical oncologist. Responsibilities include patient care, the development of clinical/translational trials, and teaching and mentorship of trainees. Minimum requirements include an M.D. degree, completion of an approved fellowship program, and board certification/eligibility in Medical Oncology.
The successful candidate will join an internationally renowned multi-disciplinary breast cancer program dedicated to translational breast cancer research. The program is based within the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, located in Washington, DC, a vibrant community offering excellent schools and an outstanding quality of life. The physician can expect appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The competitive compensation is structured to ensure balance between clinical care expectations and research efforts, with incentives in place for success.
