Cleveland Clinic Scully Welsh Cancer Center Indian River Hospital

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and qualified Medical Oncologist or Surgical Oncologist to serve as Cancer Center Director at Cleveland Clinic Scully Welsh Cancer Center Vero Beach, Florida.

The successful candidate will be joining a Commission on Cancer Comprehensive Community Cancer Program with two Radiation Oncologists, three Medical Oncologists an APP and an infusion center. Leadership experience is a priority as the Center Director will be responsible for the overall leadership of the program, including operational, fiscal, educational and quality improvement. The Center Director will participate with the Taussig Cancer Institute Leadership team in Cleveland, Ohio and the Cleveland Clinic Florida Maroone Cancer Center leadership team in Weston including tumor boards, care-pathway development, and research.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate include:

• Embrace the clinical culture of Patients First and focus on Access, Quality, Safety and Patient Experience
• Strong Leadership skills and experience of successfully managing and mentoring physicians and non-physicians
• Develop regional alliances/networks and actively participate in CC Florida strategic planning
• Outstanding communication skills to foster alignment with the Taussig Cancer Institute and Cleveland Clinic Weston, with emphasis on Cancer Programming and the development of Integrated Practice Units and multi-disciplinary care
• Grow/develop the Cancer education program
