The Hollings Cancer Center’s Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina is actively recruiting for clinical Faculty Members with an expertise in breast cancer and an interest in developing investigator initiated clinical trials at the level of Assistant Professor or above, depending on candidates’ qualifications.  Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent degree, be board certified/board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, be eligible to obtain an active medical practice license in the state of South Carolina. Duties for these positions will include participation in medical oncology inpatient and outpatient services as well as outreach programs; development, participation and implementation of clinical and investigative programs in oncology. Candidates will also be expected to supervise fellows, participate in teaching assignments and mentor students, interns, residents and fellows.

The Hollings Cancer Center is designated by the National Cancer Institute and has state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities including a highly developed clinical trials office with a growing multi-center trials network and Phase I trials program, a robust biorepository and tissue analysis resource, a genomics core, and a cell evaluation and therapy facility. In addition, clinical and translational research at the Hollings Cancer Center and the University is supported by an NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Award.
